Remodeling Rooted in Craft and Community

Where craftsmanship, communication, and collaboration come together

Your home is more than a project. During a remodel it becomes a shared space — a place where homeowners and builders work side by side.

Root Down Remodeling is a women-led remodeling team serving Madison, WI and surrounding communities. We combine third-generation craftsmanship, thoughtful communication, and detailed planning to construct kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and outdoor spaces that feel intentional and built to last. We deliver a stress-free process and beautifully finished spaces made for daily life.

We believe remodeling should feel organized, collaborative, and respectful — not chaotic.

From the Owner

“Throughout the 15 years of my career in contracting I have fallen in love with the small businesses that build a community. Much like a remodeling project my joy comes from connecting people and places and creating a cohesive space we can all share. Adding a little design razzle dazzle is merely the icing on the cake. At Root Down we take great pride in including our homeowners in our community and brightening their spaces one square foot at a time.”
